Bengaluru FC’s manager Ashley Westwood has been banned for 4 games after showing continuous signs of dissent in the game against Mohun Bagan on 6th April.  The ban is not the only punishment as the disciplinary committee of AIFF levied a fine of Rs 50,000 on the English-man after he broke a glass pane at the Salt lake stadium.

Westwood was not allowed anywhere near the technical area in Bengaluru’s game against Dempo on 21st April, and will have to do the same in the team’s final league game at Margao versus Sporting Clube de Goa.

An AIFF official stated, “The suspension would carry over to the next season in the I League. Westwood would be barred from the bench in the first two matches in case he coaches any I League team.”
