Kerala Blasters player cum manager David James insists his side will be hoping to add another win to their four match unbeaten run, but feels it will be a difficult game when his side take on Atletico de Kolkata at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Kochi tonight.

The South Indian side have won two and have drawn the other two games in their last four outings, climbing to third in the league standings. They are four points behind the second placed Kolkata outfit, who would be hoping to gain maximum points in Kochi tonight to regain their first spot, after the Sourav Ganguly co-owned club was displaced from the top by Chennaiyin FC, when they beat Pune City FC 3-1 on Wednesday.

However James feels his side is ready to give their best against one of the most talented teams of the tournament, and insists that with Michael Chopra coming back from injury and the return of Mehtab Hussain also a possibility, the Boys in Yellow will be spoilt for choice while selecting the squad for the home game this evening.

Kolkata is a very talented team, probably one of the best teams in the league so far”, the former Liverpool goalkeeper said via the Indian Super League’s official website.

Interestingly they have fielded same squad for most of their matches, which show that they have a very fit side as well. Their away form is also good.  So it won’t be an easy match, but our intention is to try and win tomorrow’s game.

“The strategy is to score more goals than the opponents. As far as the squad is concerned, it is a big game and everyone wants to play. I am going to have a headache picking the squad”, the 44-year-old added.

Kerala Blasters will travel to Fatorda to take on FC Goa on Wednesday before they return to Kochi to face the current league leaders Chennaiyin FC on their home turf on 30th November
