IMG-Reliance have decided to close the domestic signings for the upcoming Indian Super League after they got as many as 90 players for the auction, a TOI report read. In the 90 selected players, internationals from Churchill Brothers SC are also present, namely, Lenny Rodrigues, Denzil Franco, Jaison Valles and Arindam Bhattacharya. These players are no longer contracted under Churchill Brothers SC.

Defender Denzil Franco, who was an I-League winner with Churchill Brothers, said, “I had four great years at Churchill Brothers but now it’s time to move on and try something different.”

Steven Dias, Jayesh Rane, Ashutosh Mehta, Dane Pereira and Rohit Mirza are few of the other names who are in the pool of the selected 90.

Despite this, there will be some sense of disappointment as Indian stars like Sunil Chhetri, Robin Singh, Balwant Singh, and Victorino Fernandes will not appear in the inaugural edition of the league.
