Manchester United beat Championship side Preston North End yesterday in the last 16 tie of the FA Cup.
Preston took the lead in the 47th minute after Scott Laird scored past David De Gea. The goal sprang United into action and they equalized in the 65th minute. Wayne Rooney appeared to be interfering with the play, but the goal was given nonetheless.
From then on, United were always the favourites and they took the lead in the 72nd minute through Marouane Fellaini. Wayne Rooney sealed the win in the 88th minute via a penalty. The win means that United will host current holders Arsenal in the next round.
