Manchester United eye Ezequiel Garay
Manchester United boss Luis van Gaal has targeted Argentine center back Ezequiel Garay in January transfer window. As per Express’ reports, van Gaal is desperate to avail the services of Garay to improve his backline. The £18 million rated defender has been a consistent performer for the clubs as well as national team in the recent years. Garay had joined Russian club Zenit Saint Petersburg this June.
Manchester United boss feels that Ezequiel Garay would make a great combination with fellow Argentine Marcos Rojo at United and would thus solve the club’s issue regarding their defence.
Manchester United might bring in Welshman Gareth Bale
Metro reports, Manchester United might rope in Gareth Bale from Real Madrid this winter for a whopping £90million transfer fee. It is believed United has made the Welshman their prime target this new year. They are even willing to pay him £300,000-a-week at Old Trafford. The main concern was Real Madrid’s willingness to sell the winger but now it is believed that, Real boss Carlo Ancelotti is ready to sell Bale as he feels that the Welshman is no longer needed owing to Isco’s recent form at the club.
Napoli target Mario Balotelli
Italian club Napoli has set their eyes on unsettled Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli. As per the reports of Metro, Liverpool is not too happy with the Italian striker’s performance at the club and are willing to get rid of the attacker. Balotelli, 24, is yet to score a Premier League goal for the Merseyside club and has already raised quite a few eyebrows. It is believed that Napoli manager Rafa Benitez would love to rope in the unsettled forward, as a Napoli is struggling in the Serie A. Liverpool had brought in Balotelli from AC Milan this summer for a decent £16million and are reportedly ready to sell him to Napoli for £10million.
Liverpool eye Simon Mignolet replacement
Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers is ready to replace Belgian goalkeeper Simon Mignolet this winter. According he has offered Espanyol goalkeeper Kiko Casilla to join the club in January. Casilla has been in Rodgers’ radar for quite some time now and it is believed that he will now rope in the young goalkeeper. Casilla has also offer from Real Madrid, but Liverpool is believed to be the front-runners.
Arsenal receive the green light to sign Mat Hummels
Mat Hummels’ future at Borussia Dortmund has been a subject of speculation for a long time now. Previously the German defender was linked with Machester United and now Arsenal are believed to be in the race too. Gunners manager Arsene Wenger, will look forward to rope in Hummels to strengthen his defence in January. As per Daily Star’s report, Luis van Gaal has now lost his interest in Hummels and is focusing on Argentine defender Ezequiel Garay. This has improved Wenger’s chances of signing Hummels in January.
