Could this be the first of a possible quadruple for Manchester City?
Manchester City came from behind to win their first trophy in their pursuit of the quadruple. They beat Sunderland 3-1 to win the Capital One cup. The blue side of Manchester is on the rise and their comeback win was a strong statement to the rest of Europe about their intentions.
Fabio Borini helped Sunderland take an early lead. Yaya Toure equalised with a brilliant instant finish from 25 yards in the 55th minute, before Samir Nasri’s spectacular strike changed the entire course of the game and set City on the way to victory as Navas slotted in the 3rd goal late in the game.
