The World’s 3rd most expensive transfer took place this summer when Luis Suarez moved from Liverpool to Barcelona. The Merseyside club have signed some exciting players with the money and will continue to do so. Southampton have suffered in the transfer window after having a good season as most of their star players have left the club.
In terms of most money spent, Liverpool lead the race after having spent nearly £90m. Chelsea aren’t far behind though as they too have strengthened under Jose Mourinho.
