The UEFA Champions League group stage draws were made minutes earlier at Grimaldo Forum, Monaco. Ten-time winners and current holders Real Madrid were grouped with Swiss side FC Basel, five-time winners Liverpool and newcomers Ludogorets.
Last season’s finalists Atletico Madrid have been grouped with Seria A Champions Juventus, Greek side Olympiacos and Swedish side Malmo FF.
Group C and group E are the most exciting ones as both of them are being dubbed as the “group of death”.
