Manchester United working on Kevin Strootman move

Manchester United manager Louis Van Gaal targets Kevin Strootman, as the Dutch midfielder returned last week in action for AS Roma. Strootman came on as a second-half substitute after Roma’s 3-0 victory over Torino. The Dutch came back to action after 8 months following a knee-injury.

Even though Roma have claimed several times that they are not ready to sell Strootman, Manchester United are reportedly going to make another enquiry for the midfielder. Van Gaal has expressed his admiration for the Dutchman several times. This summer he had said: “Other players, not at Manchester United, I can’t judge – I am not there. Strootman I can judge, but he has been injured for more than six months.”We have to wait and see how he comes back. It’s not so easy to come back out of an injury, so we’ll wait and see.”

Arsenal eye Munir El Haddadi’s loan transfer deal

According to reports, Arsenal are ready to work on the loan transfer deal of Barcelona’s wonder kid Munir El Haddadi. Munir, 19, is termed as the ‘New Neymar’ by many. He had appeared in a few games for Barcelona in La Liga in the beginning of the current season. With the number of stars in Barcelona attack force, it is very unlikely that the Spanish young star will hardly get any playing time at the club in this season anymore. Arsenal, on the other hand, are lacking a genuine goal getter. Munir’s loan deal is believed to help both the London club as well as the player.

Real Madrid target Sami Khedira’s replacement

Real Madrid have set their eyes on German midfielder Christoph Kramer. They are reportedly interested in signing the German next summer as a replacement for Sami Khedira. The 23-year-old would cost somewhere in the region of £12m. Both the midfielders operate in the same defensive midfield role and considering Kramer infamously replaced Khedira in the final of the World Cup,is thought of as an ideal candidate.

With the news of Khedira’s moving out of Bernabeu, Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal will be overjoyed. It is believed that all the top clubs in Premier League are racing to avail the German’s service.

Chelsea make Marco Reus their top transfer target

Chelsea are reportedly interested in roping in German attacker Marco Reus from Borussia Dortmund in January. Reus, who has been linked with several top clubs around the world, is almost certain to leave the German outfit in the coming transfer window. Chelsea boss, Jose Mourinho is believed to have shown interest in Reus. They may launch a sizable bid to acquire the German and in return may send Andre Schurrle to Dortmund.
