Wayne Rooney scored Manchester United’s second goal in a super strike in a match that saw Manchester United register their first away win of 2014.
A defensively solid Crystal Palace held on for more than half the match before Evra won a penalty which was put away neatly by Robin Van Persie. This was topped off by a wonder strike by Wayne Rooney leaving David Moyes a relieved man.
In other matches of the day, Chelsea had a last gasp winner helping them to a 1-0 win. Manchester City won narrowly too (1-0) while Arsenal bounced back with a superb 4-1 win rounding off a happy footballing saturday!
