East Bengal coach Armado Colaco praised his team’s efforts after their come from behind victory against Pune FC in what was a must win game for the Bengal side.
Colaco said, “I’m really proud of the way the boys played today. It’s never easy to turn things around when you are trailing, especially in an away match, and my boys did exactly that. Hats off to them.”
East Bengal are one point behind league leaders Bengaluru FC who have two games in hand. If Bengaluru win any one of their games they will be crowned as Champions. When asked about Bengaluru, Colaco said, “I’m not thinking of Bengaluru FC or by how may points we are still behind them. Players are giving their best and deserved to win.
“At the same time, they are aware that the job isn’t over yet. We are all looking forward to finishing on a high,” he added.
