Liverpool make Reus as their prime target in January; Valdes set to sign

Daily Star reports, Liverpool are in talks with ex-Barcelona keeper Victor Valdes’ agent to avail the services of the Spanish keeper. Valdes had served the Catalan giants for 12 long years from 2002-2014. He left the club at the end of the 2013-14 season after his contract expired. The 32-year-old goalkeeper is now a free agent and it is believed that Brendan Rodgers might rope in Victor Valdes. He had appeared in 535 competitive  games for Barcelona.

Liverpool are set to offer Marco Reus a mammoth £200,000-a-week worth contract as reported by Metro. As per reports, The Reds have made Reus their primary target in the coming transfer  window. If rumours are to be believed then, Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers is willing to offer Reus a five-year contract worth £200,000-a-week. This would make Reus their highest paid player ever. Reus currently earns about £60,000-a-week at Borussia Dortmund, in all probability would accept the offer. Only thing which remains to be seen is whether Dortmund accepts the transfer fee.

Chelsea linked with an audacious bid for Sterling

As per Express’ reports, Chelsea is ready to place a bid of  £ 48million for Liverpool and England midfielder Raheem Sterling in the coming transfer window. The 19-year-old English midfielder is currently negotiating a five-year contract with club boss Brendan Rodgers. But there are possibilities that Sterling may not agree to his terms and conditions. At present Sterling is one of the brightest young talents in the world. Not only the Blues, but also many other European giants are setting their eye on the winger.

Manchester United set to return for Vidal

Daily Star’s report suggests, Juventus may sell Arturo Vidal in the coming transfer window. Vidal was involved in a controversial act in a night club just 72 hours before a crucial game against AS Roma. Juventus authorities are not happy with Vidal’s deeds and may decide to release him. Manchester United are the likely candidates to avail his services.

According to Metro, Manchester United are working on a heavy transfer deal to land Borussia Dortmund’s star defender Mat Hummels in January. United had spent almost £150 million in the last transfer window to strengthen their upfront. But the team’s defence has been a major concern for Dutch manager Luis van Gaal. The Premier League giants are willing to spend £40million behind the German international.
