Arsenal started their new campaign in style, as Wenger handed debut’s to Alexis Sanchez, Chambers and Debuchy, all of whom proved their worth to his team.
Sanchez with his direct running gave an extra dimension to the arsenal attack.
It was Cazorla who opened the scoring at 21 mins after good play by Yaya Sanogo who looks to be a good backup at the strikers role.
In the 42nd Ramsey continued where he left off last season he showed his class with a brilliant touch to make space and shoot past Caballero, again Sangago was involved in the goal.
Teams made substitutions at half time .

Finally just after the hour mark Giroud sealed the victory with a sublime 25 yard volley. Caballero could have positioned himself better for the last goal .

Injuries and late returns from World Cup commitments combined to leave City without seven of the XI that sealed a second Premier League title in three seasons with a final-day win over West Ham in May.
Arsenal were also missing several of their main men, with Per Mertesacker, Mesut Ozil and Lukas Podolski, who helped Germany triumph in Brazil, unavailable.
For Arsenal the plus point was the display of 19 year old Callum Chambers at Center Back . For a 19-year old it was a rock solid performance.
For City David Silva looked sharp with his silky touches and sublime passes.
